Is your student interested in coding or growing their computer skills or knowledge? Do they want to meet other students with similar interestes? Then our after-school coding club, Bits 'n Bytes, may be for them!
What is it? A weekly FREE coding club for students in 3rd to 7th grade. We'll cover topics from coding (mostly block coding platforms) to digital citizenship to basic computer skills through fun, hands-on activities.
When is it? Mondays from 5-6pm CST
Where is it? On Zoom. Register your student at https://bit.ly/bnb_ycj
This week's activity: Balloon Pop — Skeet shooting is a game that tests your speed and accuracy. In this activity, we will make our own version of a Skeet shooting game using balloons as our targets. This is just one of many different types of real-world games that you can recreate using code!
