CODE JAMs

Our highly-anticipated signature events! We’ve been hosting Community Code Jams and Low-Sensory Jams throughout the state of Texas since 2012. These free events allow K-12 students and their adults to explore coding, computer science, and technology in a self-paced, judgment-free zone, alongside industry professionals, volunteers, and STEM educators!

In 2018 we blueprinted our successful Community Code Jam event model to empower educators and organizations to introduce coding and computer science in their classrooms and programs. Explore our one-stop-shop Jam in a Box option to bring innovative learning to a community near you!

educator DEVELOPMENT and support

We love our educators! Youth Code Jam is a TEA-approved provider of Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits for K-12 teachers. We offer an array of Professional Development training to take your tech to the next level and guide you through emerging software and online tools. We also offer free resources for teaching computer science and coding in a fun, engaging way!

CODING WITH THE SPURS

This program, in partnership with Spurs Give, takes basketball from the court to the computer screen for K-12 students. Code a dunk, a free throw, or make the crowd go wild!

Bits ‘n Bytes

We offer year-round after-school clubs to students in 3rd-7th to introduce them to coding, computer skills, and strategic problem solving.

 

Summer camps

Attend one of our summer camps to keep your creativity flowing! Learn a programming language, expand your strategic thinking, or combine real-world tech with code programs - there’s something for everyone to enjoy! Camps are open to K-12 students of all skill levels.
