Feeding Our Community

Free Virtual Maker Project Daily, May 11th - 15th 10:30 am to 11:30 am via Zoom For Students 3rd - 6th grade

Join Promesa Academy Charter School and Youth Code Jam for a free learning experience for students in 3rd through 6th grade. Together, we will talk to creative individuals who are innovating to help with food insecurity caused by the coronavirus. Students will brainstorm ways each of us can make a difference while learning new technology skills. By the end of our two weeks together, students will create a 'recipe' using technology for how to help contribute during this time.

We are thankful to the COVID19 Response Fund for making it possible to provide this opportunity free of charge. In addition, for each student project submitted, the Bezos Foundation's Students Rebuild project will donate $6 to support programs providing immediate hunger relief.
